In a world that rarely slows down, we offer a sanctuary for women who have spent their lives giving to everyone but themselves. Through grounding movement, breath, stillness, and heart-led connection, we guide you gently back to your centre — one breath, one moment, one practice at a time.
Meet your teacher…
Hello lovely soul,
I’m Katie, founder of Om Yoga Collective and the heart behind Gentle Yoga in Nundah. It’s so wonderful to connect with you.
After years of giving, caring and holding it all together, it’s easy to feel disconnected from your body, your needs and that quiet spark within. That’s why I created these offerings… not just as yoga classes or gatherings, but as nurturing spaces to come home to yourself.
Whether you're sinking into the deep nourishment of Yin Yoga for Women, flowing gently in our inclusive Gentle Flow classes or sharing sacred connection in a Women’s Circle, each experience invites you to pause, soften and be.
This space isn’t about pushing or perfecting. It’s about remembering that you are already worthy, that your emotions matter and your softness holds power. It’s about being seen and supported exactly as you are.
Through soothing movement, mindful breath and quiet reflection, we create a gentle return to inner harmony together. One breath, one moment, one practice at a time.
I can’t wait to welcome you back to yourself.
With love,
Katie x

FAQs
Are your classes suitable for beginners?
Yes! My yoga classes are designed to be gentle and accessible for all levels, including beginners. No prior experience is needed.
Are your classes suitable for pregnancy or postpartum?
Yes, absolutely. Both my Yin Yoga and Gentle Flow Yoga classes (and my Women’s Circles) are slow, gentle, and soulfully paced, making them suitable for most people during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
I offer variations and supportive options throughout each class, and you're always encouraged to listen to your body and move in a way that feels right for you. That said, I do recommend checking in with your healthcare provider before attending, especially if you're in your first trimester or recovering from birth.
If you are pregnant or postpartum, feel free to reach out and let me know ahead of time — I’ll be sure to offer any additional modifications to ensure you feel comfortable, supported, and safe throughout your practice. You are always welcome, no matter what life stage you’re in.
What happens if I miss a class or need to cancel?
As the classes are part of a set term, they are non-refundable. However, if you have extenuating circumstances, please reach out to me at katie@omyogacollective.com.au and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.
What do I need to bring?
You only need to bring your own mat. All other props, such as bolsters, blocks, and blankets, will be provided.
Can I attend if I have physical limitations?
Absolutely! I will guide you to modify poses as needed, and you are actively encouraged to move at your own pace, and to listen to your body.
